DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT ON ORDERS?

A 50% deposit is requiered to secure your order. Deposits are non-refundable.

HOW SHOULD I STORE MY CAKES/CUPCAKES?

Keep your cake cool, refrigerated and avoid placing it in direct sunlight. I recommend removing your cake from the fridge approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour, prior to consumption. It is best served slightly chilled or at room temperature.

If you're planning to display the cake longer than 30 minutes to 1 hour, please make sure the venue is air conditioned for summer weather.

Cakes last up to 3-4 days in a fridge, in an air tight container.

HOW DO I CUT MY CAKE?

Please be sure the remember if you have a tall single tier cake, or a multi-tiered cake, there will be dowels inside the cake to support the height of the cake. Remove these dowels as you slice the cake.

Keep plates clost to you as you slice so as not to drop them. Be sure that you knife is long enough to reach into the middle of the cake.

WHAT’S THE BEST WAY TO TRANSPORT MY CAKE?

The best way to transport your cake is to have a passenger hold the cake box in their lap while driving in the car if possible. Alternatively, keep the cake box on the floor of your car and make sure the air conditioning is on. Before transporting, please ensure the cake is well refrigerated.

HOW DO I CARE FOR THE FLOWERS ON MY CAKE?

Regarding fresh flowers, I will use what is available at market on the day of your event. I will accommodate your style and color as much as possible.

The final price will depend on how many colors or types of flowers the cake requires.

To ensure the flowers stay fresh, I recommend you pick up the cake the same day of the event. The flowers can stay overnight in the fridge but please let me know if you are going to do this. Some flowers such as the edible flowers will dry out very fast so it is not recommended to keep overnight.

HOW CAN I PICK UP MY CAKE?

I am located in Bloomfield, CT. Pick up time will be scheduled and address will be provided once you confirm your order with a deposit. Cake pick up is by appointment. (at least an hour window)

DO YOU PROVIDE CAKE TOPPERS?

Acrylic cake toppers such as Happy birthday, one, eighteen, twenty-one, thirty, fifty, sixty and “oh baby” are available starting at $10.00.

IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I NEED TO KNOW FOR ORDER PICK UP DAY?

I suggest the person that places the order is present on the day of pick up. This helps to ensure that you can check the order to make sure that you are happy with the items and that there are no issues before they leave.

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY ORDER?

Cancellation fee is 50% of the cost of the cancelled items.
